If something is happening at school that we should know about, we want the <a href=\"https:\/\/cafemom.com\/parenting\/disrespectful-student-parenting-lesson\">lines of communication<\/a> to stay open. In the same vein, we understand that our kids likely talk about their home lives at school, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cafemom.com\/parenting\/my-sons-teacher-body-odor-forced-deodorant-note\">if a teacher hears something concerning<\/a>, they&#8217;ll let us know. But when does it become more than a concern and turn into meddling?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mom posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AmItheAsshole\/comments\/1grl6av\/aita_for_suggesting_my_teacher_host_my_sons_party\/?share_id=TncNaeuTdizWOwCPigzz6&amp;utm_content=1&amp;utm_medium=ios_app&amp;utm_name=ioscss&amp;utm_source=share&amp;utm_term=1\">Reddit&#8217;s AITA forum<\/a> asking if she was wrong about how she approached a situation with her son&#8217;s teacher. He son is turning 9 and having two friends spend the night to celebrate his birthday. Apparently, the kids talked about it at school, which led to a few hurt feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His teacher called the original poster and said she needed to invite the whole class. OP then clapped back, and things got ugly.
