When Marisa Christie checked into a Texas hospital for the scheduled Cesarean birth of her triplets, <a href=\"https:\/\/cafemom.com\/parenting\/i-invited-my-sisters-to-help-after-my-c-section-but-its-clear-theyre\">she expected everything to go smoothly<\/a>. But soon after delivery, she nearly lost her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christie told <em>Today<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/health\/womens-health\/mom-amniotic-fluid-embolism-triplets-rcna180126\">she had no idea what had happened<\/a> until a week later when she finally regained consciousness.
