The former talk show host is now \u201cpermanently incapacitated\u201d due to her dementia diagnosis, according to her guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In new\u00a0court documents obtained and made public by <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/650893_2024_Sabrina_Morrissey_v_Sabrina_Morrissey_COMPLAINT__AMENDED__67.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deadline<\/a>, Williams\u2019 guardian confirms she \u201chas been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In May of 2023,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2024\/02\/24\/wendy-williams-television-return-unlikely-aphasia-dementia\/\">Williams was diagnosed<\/a>&nbsp;with primary aggressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, just one year after she was placed under legal guardianship. The court-ordered guardianship oversees her health as well as her finances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0November 12 court filing involves Williams\u2019 guardian\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.morrisseyllp.com\/sabrina-e-morrissey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sabrina Morrissey<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt31140359\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Where Is Wendy Williams?<\/em><\/a>\u00a0documentary.
